Amish Bread?! I Thought You Were Jehovah's Witness?

Well, I made it. Amish bread, crockpot chicken and those cute little cupcakes you see in a jar all over pinterest. 

and of course, mine did not come out like it at all. But it was good! I did cake mix baked in a cupcake tin, then cut it in half and put the bottom of the cupcake in the bottom of the jar, and then put chocolate pudding (so good!) in the middle, then the top of the cupcake, and of course frosting and sprinkles! I was so proud of myself cause they are cute, just messy haha. 

The amish bread was definatly my favorite. It was my first attempt at bread and I had no idea what I was doing. But practice makes perfect. We just moved to North Carolina, so of course I didn't have a kitchen aid so I had to hand mix the dough. It was a lot of fun and seeing what I made turn into something really good made me feel accomplished!

The crockpot chicken...or I mean the super dry chicken, barely baked stuffing and nasty sour cream. I usually have good fortune with recipes on pinterest but tonight I don't know. It was a layer of chicken, then stuffing (just the bread crumbs), a layer of cheese, then a mixture of sour cream and cream of chicken soup. I don't know what went wrong but it was dry, and strange. Maybe I will be more wary of recipes.
